Here's a joke that wrote itself

News excerpt: (1/25/06) HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. (AP) - A male high school student can wear a skirt to school after the American Civil Liberties Union reached an agreement with school officials...

...in an unrelated story, a group of high school bullies have filed a motion with the ACLU for the right to kick the crap out of somebody on a regular basis.

Saw that, the kid was saying he was glad he won... the right to wear a dress? wtf?

The whole thing started cause they said he couldn't wear shorts a few months out of the year so he started wearing skirts. Now it may be just me but I probably would raised hell over the shorts issue.

Somebody direct this kid to Hollywood Blvd for the clear heeled platforms in his size.

Damn - makes me wish I was a bully, just a little.

I think that kid's point of view was that girls are allowed to wear CONSIDERABLY shorter skirts to school; yet boys cannot wear shorts. Not all the schools in Jersey have air conditioning... ahhh memories... it's all coming back to me now. Vividly. Memories of sitting and sweating in class, only to get up and see a beads of sweat, perfectly imprinting my ass and cooch areas.

GOOD TIMES!!

We're pretty weird in New Jersey.

The ACLU is so fucking useful. And by useful I mean like how non-alcoholic beer is useful. And how people that spit wash your windshield are useful.

The saying here in Oz used to be "only in America" sadly this is no longer true, there is just as much wierd stuff happens here now.

That has Letterman written all over it. That's so great.

The things people worry about . . . the kid's obviously nuts, but school administrators and their illogical policies don't exactly set a good example. I think people who run the public schools were all the outcasts in their day -- and this is their vengeance. No shorts for you!

Actually, it'd be kinda cool going around like Mel Gibson in Braveheart and flashing at will.

Also reminds me of why being a high school teacher gets more difficult each year.

Isn't high school hard enough as a teenage boy without cross-dressing?

Okay, here's a thought, how would he pee? I mean, unless the skirt is super short, he's going to get some juices on that pretty ruffle skirt of his..I guess he can always sit down though.. it sounds like he would prefer to do that, along with bending over.
Let's just hope he doesn't decide to go commando with his new fashion freedom.....

You know it's probably a kilt and his heritage is at stake. You old fart.

Just because YOU had no reason to wear a jock strap doesn't mean that the ACLU did.

It's 8pm and I'm going to bed. Because I'm getting old, I guess.

the worst part about having rights is enduring the rights of other people!

Nice! What about pumps? Can he wear pumps too?

He went about it all wrong.

If he wanted to protest not being able to wear short, then he shouldn't have worn anything.

That's fucking pantless hardxcore protesting.
